Day seven: a photo of someone you miss.
Snoopah...she brought so much love into my family's life. We found her wandering in the woods behind our house at seven weeks old. I was twelve and had never had a pet other than goldfish and a hampster! We were only going to keep her for the weekend until we could find her a good home, but then we fell in love and it was all over. I loved her from the time I was twelve years old until the age of twenty five, and as sad as it was when she went to heaven, I'm so happy to have had her for all those years!

Day six!
Day six: a photo of someone you love.
My mom and on on Christmas. 2010. <3
Today was a day that I feel like I need to pretend didn't happen. Actually, this week feels like a week I need to pretend didn't happen. I don't know why I've been struggling so much. I feel so off kilter and don't know what's up and what's down anymore. I want something to look forward to. Maybe a vacation day in the near future is necessary...a day to relax and do whatever I want with no job or commitments standing in my way!
I need a trip to New York very soon.
I also need a trip to Washington D.C. to see Colleen. My best friend has lived there for almost three years now and I've gone to see her never. When she lived in Providence for college I went to see her twice. TWICE! And they barely even counted! It was an hour away! I'm a bad friend. Washington or bust!
I've started logging sentences that people say to me at work that make no sense so I can put them all together and publish a book about "stupid things people say..." so the world can see that they need to take time to fully think out their thoughts before they speak them. Sometimes people say the silliest things to me when they call in, and I think-did you really think about what you were going to say before you said it? No. I don't think you did! It baffles me the amount of people who seem to have no disregard to the mystery person on the other end of the phone who really, honestly, is getting paid to help YOU. You're my #1 priority, I have to help you, I get paid to do so! Let me help you! Don't walk all over me or not even let me get my name out before you start biting my head off! Some days I find people to be actually pretty bearable. I enjoy talking to random strangers at length about medical things that make me sound intelligent. I can pronounce words like "omeprazole" and "psychopharmacologist" and talk about the difference between formulary and non-formulary drugs. I can help old ladies with things they could never figure out themselves and they're so appreciative, you would've thought I'd handed them a million dollars. But! Then it never fails to get some awful, impatient woman who is highly demanding and wants so much of you with no time for you to do it and responds with moans and groans and "Ugh...I have a meeting to get to, cant you hurry up!" or "Honestly, what is so hard about this?" Those people need a dose of reality. Our fast-paced world is no match for member services. We need time, people!
Alright, now that I've gotten it all out I'm going to make dinner and take a bubble bath and watch 19 Kids and Countingre-runs until my eyes close!

And now I missed 3 days! :(
I'm bad at this blog stuff. Maybe once my schedule seems more in track and Erin and I aren't sharing one car things will even out! In the meantime....
Day five: a photo that makes you laugh.

I missed a day!
Day three: a photo that makes you happy.
Theatre Banquet 2008. Erin and I were just starting to see each other and nobody knew. We took lots of scandalous pictures and nobody knew why (or so we thought....). It was one of the most magical nights of my life and I am so happy I have so many pictures to remember it!
Day four: a photo of a place you'd like to visit.

Day Two!
Day two: a photo of yourself at least a year ago
"Beggers can't be choosers"...I got to be off of the phones today at work for most of the day taking some courses on Networking and Time Management and as nice of a break as it was for the first few hours, by early afternoon my eyes were glazing over and I thought my hand my fall off from all the notes I was taking. I couldn't decide at that moment if the I was actually going to admit to myself that I actually *wanted* to go back on the phones. Me? What?! I guess I can never be satisfied!
I want to travel everywhere. My body keeps wanting to get up and go, go go. As exhausted as I am tonight, I want to jump on a plane and fly to anywhere.
<3 Goodnight!
Hangin' out with Celine Dion's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! August 2009. Little more than year ago. It seems like so much longer. How lucky I am to have a girlfriend with relatives that live in cool places! Places that are great for visiting! (I think Southern California is perfect for just that. Living, I don't know about....)

Day One!
Day one: Here I am! Convinced by Laura, but happy to be starting over. My old blog on Livejournal was filled with bad memories and rants and raves and I would like to start being able to document the happier things in life. Don't we bitch and moan enough to everyone out loud all day long? Why write about it? Who wants to read about other people's problems?
Okay. So much of what we call entertainment is based on getting a perverse thrill out of other people and their misfortunes. But! I am determined....thanks Laura!
